Late Night Blogging.

Colton is currently sleeping so I thought I would blog real fast before bed. Colton has been sleeping in his carseat at night for the past couple months and I really need to get him use to his crib. He has taken a few naps in it but has never slept in it at night. I'm hoping to put him in the crib this weekend when we're up at my parents. Josh told me he would help me get him use to it so we'll see if he does! Josh never changes poopie diapers. He has changed maybe 3 since Colton has been born. Well yesterday morning he actually let me sleep and he took care of Colton. Usually he would wake me up to change the diaper but he didn't this time. I was so happy and proud of him. He's so good to me! I don't know what I would do without him. He's a great daddy! My mom has surgery wednesday to r
emove the lump from her breast. Me, Josh, and Colton are going up there to be with her all weekend. I worry about her because I'm not there to take care of her. After all the surgeries she has had I was always there to be with her. Now it's hard to do living 4 1/2 hours away and having a baby to take care of. I'm going to do my best to be there a lot now though. I don't want her to miss us too much!

My life at the beginning of the new year.

This is the first time I have blogged since I had my son 4 months ago. I got a little distracted when he was born. He had cholic and would scream all night and every night so I wasn't sleeping very much. He now sleeps almost all night. He goes to bed at midnight and wakes for one feeding then goes right back to sleep. It's wonderful!

Colton is now rolling over almost every time we put him on his belly. He is also starting to get his first tooth. Makes me sad that he's becoming such a big boy but it's also kind of nice to have a little more free time now that he's a little older!

He weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 20.5 inches long when he was born and he is now 16 lbs and 25 inches long. I can't believe how fast he is growing!
He loves to sit in his high chair and watch tv. The tv is his favorite thing. I love that he is recognizing people now. Me or Josh walk past him and he just smiles at us. Him smiling at me is the best feeling ever. Even if I'm having a bad day, all he has to do is smile at me and nothing else seems to matter that much.

My mom recently found out that she has breast cancer. I think about her constantly and I hate that I'm not there with her all the time. We're starting to go up there a lot more now though so I can be with her. I love her so much and I refuse to let anything happen to her. I just don't understand why it had to happen to her. She's been through enough already!

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a really long time. I completely forgot about it! I've had a lot on my mind getting everything ready for little Colton.
I'm now 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I went to the doctor today and everything is ok. I'm not dilated yet but he'll be here soon. If he doesn't come before then I'll be induced at 9:00 p.m. on the 6th and he'll be here sometime on the 7th. I'm really hoping he decides to come before then. I have 11 days to get him out!
His room and everything is all ready for him. I have my hospital bag packed so now we just have to wait. Me and Josh are starting to walk a lot every day so maybe that will help a little.
My brother will be here from California on the 10th to meet his new nephew. I can't wait to see him. It's been about 5 months. I'm so excited to finally show him and Sarah my house. Hope they like it.
My mom and Aunt Stacy are coming down tomorrow. My aunt has never seen my house either so I can't wait until they get here!

I just realized that I haven't blogged in a really long time. Sorry!
Well here's a little update on what has been going on.
I had my baby shower down here a couple weeks ago. There wasn't very many people there but we still got quite a few presents. I have my other baby shower up north in 3 weeks. Can't wait!
Little Colton is officially out of room in my stomach now. He gets up next to my ribs and everything so I'm constantly in pain. I hurt so bad at night I can only sleep a couple hours. It's really starting to wear me out. I'm so ready for him to be here. Only 7 weeks or less to go!
His room is all ready to go except I have to organize all the baby shower gifts I have laying on the floor. I'm going to wait until after my other shower to do anything with that though.
There hasn't really been a whole lot going on. So I will blog more later when I have something to talk about! =)

I went to the doctor yesterday and me and Colton are both healthy and everything is perfect. We get the 4d ultrasound next friday!
My sister in law, Sarah, took my maternity pictures tuesday and they turned out great!
I bought a few things for Colton's room today. A trash can, laundry basket, containers to hold diapers and toys and a few other things. My baby shower down here is next saturday and I'm so excited. I can't wait to see what all we get!
Sorry my blog is short this time but I'm so tired and need to get some rest. Josh has been working nights so I haven't slept much. I will be sure and post more next time!

I'm 29 weeks and 3 days pregnant! I go to the doctor every 2 weeks now. My last appointment went well. My sugar and everything is perfect. My iron is a little low though so I have to take a pill every day.
I've been hurting more the past few days. He gets up next to my ribs and everything and makes it really painful when I move. I have a feeling I'm going to be getting huge in a couple days!
Josh's mom brought over the border for Colton's room yesterday. She's going to put it up sometime this week!
I sent out my baby shower invitations today for the one down here. I can't wait to see all the cute stuff for him.
Me and Josh are going up to my parents next tuesday. My sister in law and nieces are flying in monday. I'm so excited to see them. Sarah's going to take my pregnancy pictures while we're up there! She has all kinds of ideas for it. They're going to turn out great!!

We finally got Colton's crib and bedding set. It looks so cute! Josh's mom ordered the bedding set and she ordered a border to match. The border should be here soon!

My mom is here for the night. She's going with me to my doctor appointment tomorrow. I'll blog more tomorrow and let everyone know how Colton's doing.
